Primary six school students from 13 different schools came to our school on Saturday, 18th January, 2014, to join a half-day Readers’Theatre activity jointly held by our school and EL2100.
Before the performance, students were first prepped by the English language experts of EL2100 on the skills like reading aloud, with feeling and in public. Then they were coached by our English teachers and senior-form English Ambassadors to be ready for the performance.
Students, divided into seven groups, then used what they learned to interpret and express their own script on stage in front of an audience in our School Hall.
The performances were impressive and the judges had a hard time deciding on the winning groups and the best speakers.
At the end of the performance, certificates and prizes were presented to all participants.
