「微調語言重點視學報告」

2011-2012年的「微調語言視學報告」中,本校獲得非常正面的評價,以下是報告的部份內容撮要:

 

The school has been implementing integrated activities lessons for many years, which greatly facilitates the organization of thematic cross-curricular activities. A range of support measures has been implemented to increase students exposure to and use of English outside the classroom.

校方一直積極推行的綜合活動課,有助推行跨科主題式延展活動。在課堂以外,校方亦為同學提供一系列的支援措施,增加學生接觸英文的機會。

 

A more systematic approach has been adopted and more resources provided, including an additional English teacher and a teaching assistant. Active steps have been taken to enrich the English learning environment.

學校採用了一個更有系統的方法提供更多資源,增加教師和教學助理協助教學。主動積極為學生創造豐富的英語學習環境。

 

A good range of English enhancement and remedial measures is in place across the year levels to cater for learning diversity, including curriculum tailoring and split class remedial English teaching.

為了照顧學生的能力差異,校方不同級別的同學提供一系列的拔尖及後進程度支援措施,如課程剪裁及小組教學。

 

It is found that students motivation in learning Codes of Life has been enhanced, which has a positive impact on their attitude towards learning the English language and the content subjects concerned.

學生在生活解碼科的學習動機提升了,這對他們學習英語及相關科目影響正面。

 

The assignments set are of a good variety. Students performance in the assignments sampled is satisfactory. Teachers marking is done conscientiously and encouraging remarks have been given consistently. Teachers formative comments have also enabled students to acquire the correct usage of the target language.

習作設計廣泛。學生習作表現令人滿意,老師批改細心,並給予學生具鼓勵的回饋。這些延續性的回饋有助學生學習。
