On 14th May,ten S.2 students joined the Reading Carnival organized by the English Schools Foundation and Masarang Foundation HK in Victoria Shanghai Academy in Wong Chuk Hang. In the Reading Carnival, our students attended an environmental conservation talk by Dr. Willie Smits, the founder of the Masarang Foundation. Besides, our students set up a market stall themed ‘Horseshoe crabs conservation’ and interacted with other students who came from 12 local secondary schools and some ESF schools. Apart from that, our students participated in different environmental-themed creative writing workshops. Through the event,our students not only learnt the importance of protecting our Earth but also got a precious chance to interact with students from various schools.
